| What: Creamsickle, the giraffe When: summer, 1996 Where: flea market in MD that no longer exists Story: I was walking with my father through an outdoor flea market, and saw this little guy peeking out of a box. I was in my Pony Gap at that point (the few years during which I became.. uninterested) but I bought him anyway. |
| What: Princess Primrose When: spring, 2001 Where: flea market in Orlando, FL Story: I had just really gotten back into ponies, and spend most of the morning scanning the stands at the flea market. Just before we left, I picked up Primrose for $.25. She was covered in surface dirt and nail polish, but her mane and tail were fine, and she cleaned up rather nicely! |
| What: TAF Sweet Tooth and MLP game When: August 3rd, 2002 Where: flea market in MD Story: After a long and tiring morning search in 90-100 degree heat, I walked into a booth and turned to my left. Sweet Tooth looked back at me forlornly. She was the first pony I had found (aside from ebay), and I was estatic. The shop/booth owner must have thought that a young adult doing a mini happy dance over a beaten up pony was cute or something, because she gave me the game AND Sweet Tooth for $3. Score. |
| What: TE Galaxy When: August 3rd, 2002 Where: yard sale in MD Story: Dead from the heat and on the way back to the shorehome, we passed a series of yard sales. Similar to the Speckles phenomenon, I wanted to stop at this one yard sale. I couldn't see anything there before I pulled up, but getting out, Galaxy was right there! $.50 later, she was mine. ^_^ |

| What: 14 ponies When: August 24th, 2002 Where: flea market in DE Story: I had waited patiently all week for the saturday flea markets. Getting up at 7am, I drove about 45min to a flea market being held in a parking garage. I had a hunch. The second stand inside had 14 ponies--I bought all of them for $1 each ^_^ I don't have pics of all of them, but here are some! The rest included Merry Treat, DnP Twirler, and some others. |

| What: Baby Countdown and a MLP tape (also found 3 McD's) When: weekend of May 16, 2003 Where: flea market in FL Story: I managed to drag the crew to a huge outdoor flea market the day after we arrived in town. After hunting through a chest of old toys, my dad's girlfriend looked over at me with a pink pony in her hand, asking absently, "Is this one?" Heh. Of course! Then, later, something caught my eye at another stand where my dad was checking out some old audio equipment, and it turned out to be a MLP story casette, along with 4 care bear ones, one transformers tape. |

| What: Confetti When: November, 2003 Where: flea market in MD Story: Another early morning on another Saturday. There happens to be an old woman who has a booth at the closest flea market who sells mostly 80's toys and memorabilia. She knows me as "the pony girl" because of how often I inquire about MLP's. She actually saved me two huge bags of ponies! Unfortunately, Confetti was the only MLP there, and also unfortunate, she was $4. But, I had to leave with SOMETHING, didn't I? |

| What: Mirror Mirror When: Spring, 2004 Where: flea market in MD Story: The flea market lady does it again! She was there, as promised, as soon as the weather warmed up this spring. Glancing over her table like a hawk, I spotted this lovely CB specimen. And for whatever reason, bought her for $3.50. |

| What: Ringlet, Baby Moondancer, Truly, Raspberry Jam, Sundance, & Light Heart When: June, 2004 Where: yard sale in MD Story: This was the most incredible day. Not only did my buddy and I find ponies, but we managed to go to 29 yard sales in less than TWO HOURS! What a record. At one of the first yard sales we went to, it was some college-age kids who sold us the ponies. I can't believe the look they gave us over my happiness at finding manky old ponies. Oh well.. they can't possibly understand. The second one (where we found the G2's) had two little girls selling their old toys. I pointed to one of the ponies and she handed it to me. I asked, "Are there any more like this one?" And she went, "Oh yeah," and handed me the other. What a cool kid. ^_^ |

| What: Pony Bride When: October, 2002 Where: flea market in FL Story: My dad had called me from Florida, explaining how he looked all day for ponies, but didn't find any. He came home a few days later and surprised me with this lovely picture of a healthy pony. |

| What: G3's, G1's, Breyers, and Fashion Star Fillies When: Fall 2007 Where: flea market in MD Story: I saw SS Buttons sticking out of a bin, and once I pulled her out, I found another.. and another.. and another.. then the FSF's on the ground next to it. Quite a lot to hold at once! The Breyers were amidst a pile of junk, from which I pulled that charcoal beauty who might fetch me a small fortune :) |
