What is a pony meet?
Pony Meets are gatherings of a small number of collectors in one place for an extended period of time, often involving the buying, selling, trading, and sharing of My Little Ponies. They are similar to conventions, only are considerably smaller and not usually for more than one day, though some stretch over a weekend. Collectors usually bring ponies to sell or trade, ones to share or show off to others, and sometimes there are contests of sorts and other games, raffles, live tutorials, etc. There is sometimes a collaboration on food provisions. Pony meets are a great way to interact with other collectors, make friends, and find elusive ponies.
I have hosted eight pony meets, beginning in the fall of 2002. The numbers have grown considerably since then, where the attendance was only three people, myself included. Now more than two dozen attend the annual/semi-annual meets.

The Fine Print
Every possible precaution is taken to ensure the safest and most comfortable environment possible, and
security has never been cause for concern in
any of the past pony meets. While I do my utmost to ensure
this trend continues, I as your meet hostess
cannot be held individually responsible for the actions of
another meet attendee. In the event that something undesirable occurs, we will do our best to rectify the
problem and ensure a just and fair result follows.
There is a zero tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol at the pony meets. Anyone found acting against this rule
will be asked to leave. Smoking is outside
only.
Every transaction is to be fulfilled as fairly as possible, and stealing or scamming is absolutely prohibited.
Thieves or scammers will be expelled from the meet and disallowed to return to future meets. This also
has never proven to be an issue, and I am determined to keep it that way.
All attendees are expected to treat each other with courtesy and respect.
Much of the meet is about sharing. If you have items you would prefer others only look at and not touch,
either label them as such or bring something simple like a plastic case to display them in. Similarly, if you
are an artist and decide to bring adult-themed work with you, please keep your sketchbooks closed and
labeled appropriately, with the younger attendees in mind.
